Its full of all the panels, workshops, musical events, performers, vendors and wonderful people from the Steampunk community you expect to find at any such convention in an exceedingly historic and immersive hotel environment with an intimate and casual atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Registration Info There is an attendance cap of 500 this year for AetherFest to keep our highly-praised intimate atmosphere, so buy your tickets now before they become a scarce commodity.
Be sure to RSVP on Facebook, as well, so you can get to know your fellow attendees before the con.
Pre-registration is now available at the early-bird rate of $50 for a full 3-day pass.
Pre-registration prices will be raised to $60 beginning in February, so register early.!
One Day Passes will be available at the door at a rate of $30 per day.
An upgrade is now available if you would like to change your regular full-con registration to a VIP pass.

Vendors Thanks for your interest in vending at AetherFest!. As vendors, you are all crucial to the success (and survival) of AetherFest and we're glad to you are wanting to vend with us.!
Our vendors will receive a 6' table at $70 with two passes included, with additional tables being $60 with one pass included. We are very picky with our vendor selection, as we do not wish to have numerous vendors selling what amounts to be the same exact items.

Thanks for your interest in volunteering!. As volunteers, you are all crucial to the success (and survival) of AetherFest and we're glad to have you on our team!. Volunteering comes into two packages, depending on time dedicated to actually volunteering at the convention:
Our Volunteers receive discounts to AetherFest, of course. For 4-7 hours, once your application has been accepted and confirmed, a special $20 three day pass will be available to you. For 8 or more hours, you will be granted a complimentary three day pass.
Keep in mind, however, that you must be diligent as a volunteer and if you are found to be lacking the required work hours by our volunteer supervisor, then we cannot grant you any of the above.

What is ÆAetherFest's host hotel?
Why, its the historic St. Anthony Hotel in Downtown San Antonio, TX, of course! Check the Our Venue section for more information and to reserve your room when the room blocks are open. We are currently working out parking information, and will post as soon as it is confirmed with our venue.
Hmmmm, Steampunk convention. I have to dress up, don't I?
Well, how should I put this? This is a convention which relies heavily on the immersion factor created in large part by the attendees, so we ask that anyone attending ÆtherFest please attempt to dress up in any form of dress that would be considered Steampunk, but in reality, it is not required. Come as you are if you don't have the outfit and enjoy the wonders of Steampunk! We're sure our fantastic vendors will help you put an outfit together if you're interested! Come now, I can already hear you murmuring, "I dont want to buy a tailcoat!," but Steampunk is much more than fancy dress or even Victorian dress in general. If you do want to dress in a Steampunk fashion for AetherFest and you never have done so before, do a bit a research and I"m sure you"ll be fine. I mean, hey, even feel free to contact us and we'll help you out! So, while we really want you beautiful lot to dress up for us, we understand if you can't and just want you to have fun!
